Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks, while also creating clear assembly documentation. This role involves designing custom fixtures and assisting with prototype development. You'll lead process creation, develop test plans, and generate comprehensive reports. Additionally, managing change requests and maintaining adherence to regulatory standards will be key aspects of your work.
- Create models, drawings, and assembly instructions in SolidWorks.
- Design fixtures and support prototyping efforts.
- Develop processes and write test protocols and reports.
- Manage change orders and ensure regulatory compliance.
Profile
The ideal Senior Manufacturing Engineer will have more than seven years of experience in manufacturing engineering, demonstrating proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical drafting. Practical experience working directly with small shop tools and hands-on production is highly valued. Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment are key attributes for success in this role.
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
