Description

Main duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Lead all phases of commercial and multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
• Manage subcontractor buyouts, contracts, and performance
• Coordinate directly with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality
• Prepare and manage all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Drive project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company protocols
• Proactively resolve issues and keep projects on schedule and within budget

Profile

In return for a generous compensation package, the successful candidates will possess the following:

• 5-10+ years of experience in construction project management
• Must currently be running your own projects (APMs will not be considered)
• Commercial GC background is required (no residential or subcontractor-only experience)
• Strong understanding of full project lifecycle: scheduling, budgeting, and paperwork
• Comfortable working in a lean, team-oriented environment
• Able to commute to the office in Portland, ME (with some travel required for jobsites)

Job Offer

• Up to $ 135,000 base salary
