This mid-size architecture firm located in Boston, MA works mostly in the public safety and K-12 sectors. They offer a flexible hybrid work model and are a tight knit group that loves to promote from within. This role is open due to growth as the firm is taking on a ton of projects. They have a strong pipeline of work and want to bring on the right candidate that can add an immediate positive impact from day one. Description

Interior Designer - Hybrid Work/Architect Firm - Boston, MA Responsibilities:

  • Space Planning: Develop efficient layouts that optimize the use of space while considering functionality and aesthetics.

  • Design Development: Create design concepts and develop them into detailed plans, including color schemes, materials, furnishings, and lighting.

  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints, translating their vision into design proposals.

  • Material Selection: Research and select materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the project's vision and budget.

  • Drafting and Modeling: Use CAD software to produce detailed drawings and 3D models of interior spaces.

  • Building Codes and Regulations: Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and accessibility guidelines.

  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of interior design projects, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and managing timelines and budgets.

  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that design specifications are being implemented correctly.

Profile

Interior Designer - Hybrid Work/Architect Firm - Boston, MA Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Public safety and/or K-12 project experience
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Bachelors degree in architecture
  • Proficient in Revit

Job Offer

Interior Designer - Hybrid Work/Architect Firm - Boston, MA Will Receive:

  • Compensation up to $110,000
