Superintendent - Commercial Construction
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction operations on commercial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This includes managing the daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and communicating effectively with the project management team, clients, and other stakeholders.

Our team is driven by innovation, safety, and quality, and we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Superintendent to join our team and help lead our projects to completion.
Description
The Construction Superintendent will:
- Project Oversight: Manage and supervise all daily on-site activities, ensuring that construction progresses according to the schedule, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Team Coordination: Direct and supervise the work of subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to ensure productivity and quality on site.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect work at various stages to ensure all construction activities meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Schedule Management: Monitor project timelines and proactively address any delays or issues to avoid disruptions to the schedule.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with project managers to track costs and ensure work is completed within the allocated budget.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding construction progress and any potential issues.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any on-site challenges or conflicts, working with the team to find effective solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including progress reports, safety reports, and any incidents or changes on site.
Profile
The Construction Superintendent should have:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a superintendent or in a similar role within commercial construction, with a proven track record of successful project completions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, contracts, codes, and safety regulations.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional certifications in safety, leadership, or specific trades are a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in an active construction environment, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
