Project Engineer - St. Louis - Commercial Construction

Description

• Support project managers in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards on all project sites.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to construction challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and expenses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Profile

A successful Project Engineer should have:

• A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3+ years of construction experience (ground up preferred)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various project tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
• A commitment to quality and safety standards in construction.
