Jr. HRIS Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HRIS Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join our HR team.
Client Details
A well respected and elite global law firm based in Mid-town Manhattan.
Description
HRIS Data Management:
Enter, update, and maintain employee information within the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
Process employee status changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers) in the HRIS.
Assist with data audits and identify discrepancies or issues in the system.
Reporting and Analytics:
Generate routine and ad hoc HR reports from the HRIS for HR leadership, departments, and compliance purposes.
Assist with the creation of dashboards or custom reports for workforce planning and other HR needs.
System Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide day-to-day support for HRIS users, troubleshoot system issues, and escalate complex problems to senior HRIS staff.
Work closely with IT and other departments to resolve technical issues related to HRIS functionality.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
Assist in the identification of HRIS improvements or process enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
Help in system testing for updates, new features, or integration's with other software.
Compliance & Security:
Ensure data integrity and compliance with data privacy and protection policies.
Support internal and external audits related to HRIS data and reporting.
Profile
- 1-2 years of experience working with HRIS or HR-related systems in a similar role - Workday highly preferred but not essential.
- Experience with data entry, reporting, and analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to analyze and manipulate data.
- Good understanding of HR processes and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different levels of employees.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve system-related problems in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with HRIS implementation, upgrades, or system integration's
- Knowledge of HR compliance standards and data privacy regulations.
