Assistant Project Manager - Construction
Join a dynamic and growing construction team as an Assistant Project Manager, supporting high-profile commercial real estate projects across New Jersey. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience in both tenant improvement and ground-up construction, with a clear path for growth and leadership.

Our client is a privately owned, full-service investment, development, and asset management firm with over 50 years of leadership in the commercial real estate space. Headquartered in Denville, NJ, the company is renowned for its innovative approach to suburban campus environments that blend work, wellness, and sustainability.
- Portfolio: 80 properties, 10M+ sqft under management, 150 acres of land
- Asset Types: 75% Class A office, 25% large industrial complexes
- Services: Development, property management, asset management, and third-party GC/CM construction
Description
- Project Management: Assist in managing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Quality Control: Support budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control
- Schedule Management: Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Documentation: Maintain and update project documentation using Procore and other construction management tools
- Team Leadership: Participate in site visits, progress meetings, and field coordination
Profile
- 4-5 years of experience in construction project management
- Background with a General Contractor or Developer
- Strong proficiency in Procore (or tech-savvy and quick to learn)
- Driven, humble, and eager to grow within a collaborative team
- Able to commute to Denville, NJ and work in a hybrid office/field setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
