Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 2-5 years of experience in leading ground-up multifamily or affordable housing projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be the second Project Manager on a $120M, multi-phase ground-up affordable housing and apartment/condo complex in Dorchester, MA. The Project Manager will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring the successful execution of the project.

Description

Project Manager - Multifamily, Affordable Housing - Boston, MA - Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects, from pre-construction through to completion
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure all project documentation is up to date, including schedules, budgets, RFIs, and submittals
  • Monitor project progress and address issues to keep the project on track
  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations on-site and ensure a smooth flow of communication between the team and clients
  • Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to maintain project timelines and budget adherence
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Profile

Project Manager - Multifamily, Affordable Housing - Boston, MA - Will have

  • 2-5 years of experience in managing ground-up multifamily or affordable housing projects
  • Proven experience managing projects in the $20M-$40M range
  • Experience with affordable housing and/or multifamily construction preferred
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes, construction methods, and safety standards
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Ability to effectively communicate with project teams and clients
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering quality projects on time and within budget
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and report directly to senior management
