The Manufacturing Engineer will focus on improving manufacturing processes by developing, testing, and optimizing machining techniques and systems. The Manufacturing Engineer will work to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, often collaborating with design and production teams to implement solutions for custom-engineered products in industries such as aerospace/defense and medical device.

Description

  • Oversee and manage new product development projects from concept to completion
  • Implement and optimize manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material selection and procurement
  • Conduct analysis and root cause investigations for manufacturing issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering and new product development
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes specific to process carbide/ceramic parts
  • Strong GD&T skills

What will set you apart:

  • Knowledge of powder processing or carbide manufacturing, highlighted with sintering and pressing experience/knowledge
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
