Description
The Super is responsible for:
- Reviewing and coordinating construction drawings with tenants, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Supervising all construction activities on the project site
- Completing all required weekly documents, including but not limited to daily reports, photos, safety checklists, and toolbox talks
- Attending weekly job meetings with the team and clients
- Maintaining strict quality controls and performing regular quality inspections to ensure the final work product meets the highest quality standards
- Maintaining schedule and job site safety to ensure timely project completion
- Ensuring specified and approved products are being installed properly
- Monitoring daily project compliance with contract documents and safety regulations
- Managing project closeouts, including punch lists and final documentation
- Scheduling and coordinating all inspections, permits, sign-offs, and requests with local authorities
- Promoting teamwork by exhibiting dependability, responsibility, loyalty, flexibility, and a positive attitude
Profile
The right candidate has the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent with a Commercial GC
- Experience running Ground Up projects is a MUST ($1M-$20M)
- Design/build experience & Steel/metal/wood framing knowledge is a plus
- Experience with project planning and scheduling, contracts, and project controls and procedures
- Software proficiency including: Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam, Word & Excel
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's License (CSL preferred)
- OSHA 10 certified (MUST have)
- OSHA 30 certified (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Construction Supervision, Management, Architecture, engineering or a related discipline is preferred
