Plumbing Superintendent - Mechanical Contractor

As a Plumbing Superintendent, you will be a key leader in the plumbing division, responsible for overseeing and coordinating plumbing projects from start to finish on multifamily and commercial projects with a leading Mechanical Contractor.

Description

• Manage all aspects of plumbing projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Lead and mentor a team of plumbing technicians and subcontractors, providing guidance and ensuring that work is performed efficiently and up to code.
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of plumbing materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability at the job site.
• Interpret and review project blueprints and specifications, ensuring accurate implementation of plumbing systems.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety protocols and ensure that all team members adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Foster positive client relationships by providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Proactively identify and address project challenges, proposing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings.

Profile

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Superintendent in commercial plumbing projects.
• Experience with project management software
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Must be available for training in Savannah for 3 months with projects to follow in Atlanta Metro Area
