Process Engineer - Molding & Extrusion - Manchester, NH
My client is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team out of the Manchester, NH area. In this role you will play a key role in driving efficiency and quality in their molding and extrusion operations. You'll develop and optimize processes, qualify new equipment, and provide technical expertise to ensure smooth production and top-notch product performance.

Description
The Process Engineer will:
- Design and implement processes to improve quality and productivity.
- Qualify new molds and machines.
- Create training materials and process documentation.
- Collaborate with production control on mold/machine assignments.
- Establish process windows and approve changes.
- Authorize cavity adjustments and mold protection changes.
- Approve 'Run on Hold' rejects.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting beyond technician level.
- Analyze issues, develop solutions, and communicate effectively in small group settings.

Profile
A successful Process Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics or related field.
- 4-6 years of plastic processing experience in molding operations.
- Proficiency with technical software and ability to read blueprints.
- Solid understanding of mechanical drawings
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Capability to frequently standing and walking in a manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable being exposed to dust, fumes, vibrations, and noise; protective equipment required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Technical expertise in molding processes and machinery.
- Clear verbal and written communication for training and documentation.
- High attention to detail for mold/machine qualification.
- Dependable in supporting operations and resolving technical issues.
