Senior Key Account Manager - One Year Contract
This is a unique opportunity to exclusively represent a top skincare brand as a Senior Key Account Manager for the entire US Market. This role will be a 1 Year Contract where the client will hire the candidate as a Full Time Employee to cover an extended maternity leave.

Description
- You'll be responsible for nurturing multiple relationships with distributors and retailers while identifying new commercial opportunities and negotiating retailer support pushing the Brand to the next level both in store and online.
- Establish and maintain amazing relationships at all levels with the retailer teams, including Buying/Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing. Conduct successful contract and commercial negotiations to deliver optimal visibility to the Brand
- Ensure a top-line and detailed understanding of the beauty department store and distributor retail context & category to identify retail opportunities and strategic needs
- Participate in weekly planning team meetings to drive and analyze sell in and sell out performance, shipments and align on forecasts
- Initiate weekly conference calls with merchant team and monthly meetings to review all business opportunities and issue
- Develop full calendar of activities for retailers, leveraging overall brand strategy and marketing objectives
- Analyze sales returns and impact of promotional programs and trade spend to make recommendation and identify future opportunities and mitigate risk
- Strategically manage Trade spend to maximize sales and marketing activities.
- Work collaboratively with finance to develop and manage P&L decisions to drive maximum sales and ROI
- Manage retailer tools and portals owning all product listings and new-product launch setup
- Own all net sales forecasting, meeting all financial deadlines and budget submissions, flagging risks and opportunities in a timely and quantified manner
- Ensure accurate forecasting for NPD and core lines, and proactive inventory and assortment management, with close collaboration with your counterpart in Marketing, Demand Planning and Supply Chain
- Build strong working relationships with Education and Marketing to ensure perfect execution of the trading plan.
Profile
- Experience in account management working with Macy's/Nordstrom/Beauty distributors/QVC is required
- A passion for Beauty
- Proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Previous experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- A collaborative mind-set allowing for strong cross functional relationships
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work across different time zones effectively
- Some travel required (up to 20%)
Job Offer
- Salary Range: $140,000 to $160,000 USD based on experience
