Description
- Prepare accurate and competitive civil, utility, and water/wastewater project estimates.
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope and cost.
- Collaborate with the Chief Estimator/Director of Precon to develop bid strategies and proposals.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Ensure estimates meet project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage and track estimates for public infrastructure projects across Massachusetts.
- Utilize B2W and HCSS software for estimating and bid management.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Profile
- 8+ years experience
- In-depth knowledge of estimating processes and experience with water/wastewater/civil projects
- Proficient in estimating software such as B2W and HCSS.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Proven ability to develop accurate, competitive bids and manage project costs effectively.
- Commutable to the Canton office and able to work on projects throughout Massachusetts.
