Description
- Oversees planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale roadway, bridge, and heavy civil infrastructure projects.
- Manages budgets, contracts, and project documentation to ensure compliance with DOT standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates daily activities among engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and government agencies.
- Monitors jobsite safety, quality control, and environmental compliance throughout all project phases.
- Identifies risks, implements mitigation strategies, and adjusts project plans to maintain timelines and cost targets.
- Leads progress meetings, prepares reports, and ensures clear communication across all project stakeholders.

- Have extensive experience managing DOT-funded highway, bridge, or interchange projects with complex staging, traffic control, and environmental considerations.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, effectively coordinating engineers, field teams, subcontractors, and inspectors across all phases of construction.
- Excel in project controls, including cost management, schedule development, change orders, and contract administration.
- Prioritize safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to OSHA standards, quality requirements, and federal/state transportation regulations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, leading progress meetings, resolving field challenges, and maintaining transparent communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Possess strong problem-solving abilities, quickly addressing design conflicts, unforeseen site conditions, and risk factors to keep projects moving.
- Utilize modern tools and technologies, such as project management software, scheduling platforms, and digital plan review systems.
- Show a commitment to collaboration, fostering productive relationships with DOT representatives, utility partners, and local agencies.
