We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Project Executive to oversee large-scale commercial and residential construction projects in the New Jersey area. This leadership role will be responsible for managing project teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects while upholding the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities for the Construction Project Executive (New Jersey) :

  • Project Leadership: Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring project goals are met and exceeded.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure satisfaction and project success.
  • Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and support staff to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, financial reports, and forecasting, ensuring projects are completed within budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality.
  • Scheduling & Risk Management: Develop and monitor project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery while proactively identifying and mitigating risks and delays.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, local regulations, and safety protocols, maintaining high standards for quality assurance and control.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project status, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Profile

The ideal Construction Project Executive (New Jersey) candidate will have:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large, complex projects.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong management abilities with a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and effectively collaborating with clients and subcontractors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) a plus.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven experience in budget management, cost control, and contract negotiation.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges quickly and efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and best practices.
