CNC Manufacturing Engineer - Northbridge, MA
My client is seeking a Mastercam/Fabrication Engineer to program CNC machines using Mastercam, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. You'll work closely with machinists and fabricators, ensure quality through inspections, assist with equipment maintenance, and help improve production processes. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute to high-quality custom fabrications.

Description
Responsibilities:
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mastercam/Fabrication Engineer. Responsibilities include programming CNC machines using Mastercam, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD to create machining programs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to develop accurate programs.
- Partner with machinists and fabricators to ensure smooth, efficient production processes.
- Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications.
- Assist with routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven ability to oversee projects from concept through completion while ensuring strict quality standards.
- Solid understanding of welding techniques and machining processes.
- Background in mechanical engineering with hands-on technical expertise.
- Keen eye for detail paired with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute effectively in team-driven environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with AISC standards and MASS DOT requirements is advantageous.
