Superintendent - Commercial

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects on Long Island. This role involves ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Description

• Oversee all on-site operations for commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring quality control and productivity.
• Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and architects to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure that the job site remains organized, safe, and efficient throughout the duration of the project.
• Track project milestones and report on progress to senior management.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a superintendent role within commercial construction, with a strong track record of managing projects from start to finish. A deep understanding of safety regulations, scheduling, and quality control is essential. Leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication skills are key to success in this position.

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety regulations
• Proven ability to manage and supervise subcontractors and project teams
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
