Indirect Tax Manager - Manufacturing - Lisle, IL
Excellent Tax Analyst opportunity at a growing manufacturing firm based in Lisle, IL. This role will include, but will not be limited to, leading the indirect tax department.
Client Details
My client is a well-known industrial machinery manufacturing firm based in Lisle, IL. They are a smaller and more collaborative tax team who goes into the office 2x/week.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the indirect tax department
- Responsible for tax areas including all Sales and Use tax, Excise tax, Contractor's tax, Property tax etc. and all related indirect tax requirements
- Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and reviewing sales tax calculations made by tax software (Vertex)
- Lead tax administration, tax planning activities, all tax calculations, preparing supporting documents etc.
- Effectively work with company's third party partners ensuring compliance in every tax area
Profile
- 8-10 years of relevant experience within the space (indirect/sales & use tax)
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting preferred
- Must understand Vertex/SAP software
- Must have strong leadership qualities
- Strong and effective communicator
