Estimator- Construction

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and meticulous Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in assessing project costs, analyzing blueprints, and preparing accurate estimates to support our bid submissions and project planning. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our projects are cost-effective and executed to the highest standards.

Description

• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information and ensure accurate cost assessments.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis to determine labor, material, and overhead costs.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals and detailed cost breakdowns.
• Evaluate and negotiate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Monitor project budgets and adjust estimates as necessary for scope changes or unforeseen conditions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and construction methods to provide accurate and timely estimates.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
