Our client is looking for an experience Property Accounting Manager to join their growing organization, with a new 100 property portfolio added to the organization. This role brings a blend of owning your own portfolio of properties and managing a team of three and reviewing their work!

Our client is looking for an experience Property Accounting Manager to join their growing organization, with a new 100 property portfolio added to the organization. This role brings a blend of owning your own portfolio of properties and managing a team of three and reviewing their work!

Description

• Manage a team of three property accountants and review and approve their work
• Manage your own portfolio of projects, focused within retail and commercial properties
• Conduct the month end close process for all properties
• Create journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accruals for properties
• Work with tenants on discrepancies in billing

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of property accounting experience, within retail and commercial properties
• Experience at the accounting manager level
• Experience with Yardi and MRI
