Senior QA Manager

The Quality Manager will be in charge of ensuring that all products meet the company standards; this person will review SOPs to ensure the company is operating in compliance with regulations.

My client is a manufacturer of Personal Care products. They are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team in the Oceanside area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and management, with experience in the cosmetic industry.

Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Establish and enforce quality control processes for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with QMS procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to personal care products.
• Ensure the company's adherence to relevant quality and safety regulations.
• Work closely with suppliers to establish quality standards for incoming raw materials.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess and improve supplier quality performance.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
• At least 7 years of experience in quality assurance and management in a regulated industry, from personal care industry is perferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is a plus.
