Description

• Promote growth and development of client relationships
• Attend client meetings throughout the preconstruction process
• Monitor and review potential opportunities
• Prepare preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates as well as detailed estimates
• Review documents
• Prepare bid packages, obtain bids from subcontractors and vendors
• Take part in preconstrucion meetings and presentations with owners
• Research market trends and compile historical data for future use
• Prepare discipline estimates by calculating takeoffs
• Participate and lead preconstruction team
• Assist in preparation of preliminary construction
• Visit on-going projects to verify status of estimates

Profile

• 7-15 years' experience
• Sr. Estimators, Tenured Preconstruction Managers
• Degree preferred but not required
• Report to operations managers, be a leader on the Preconstruction team
• Healthcare or tilt-wall preferred, will also look at good commercial backgrounds
• This hire is not tied to a specific project
• Examples of upcoming projects: Ground-up hospitals, ground-up tilt wall buildings, hospital expansions, general commercial
