Our client is one of the most established and reputable General Contractor's in the manufacturing, life sciences, and commercial construction space. They have an excellent reputation across the Southeast, all of their work is negotiated, and they have fantastic relationships locally. They typically work on projects from $30M-$100M+ in their core markets - all large-scale, ground-up construction.

They are seeking a Project Manager with ground-up commercial construction experience to join their team in Greenville, SC! Commercial construction experience with a General Contractor is required.
Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly schedule to support and preserve the Contract Project Schedule
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
- Dictate or prepare project reports for management, client, or others
- Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
- Take part and assist with the pre-planning and conceptual phase
- Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders and maintain them moving forward
- Work with subcontractors - create and maintain positive relationships
- Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule
Profile
The successful Project Manager will have the following experience:
- 5-10 years of Project Manager experience
- Experience working on large-scale, commercial construction projects with a general contractor is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree
- Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred
- Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success
- Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors
- Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level
- Candidates local to Greenville and relocators to Greenville will be considered
Job Offer
The successful Project Manager will receive:
- Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $90,000-$140,000
- Discretionary bonuses
- Vehicle allowance
- Cell and laptop offered
- Above industry standard PTO and sick days
