A reputable general contractor with projects in and around Hartford, CT is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. This Project manager will oversee ground up, large scale public projects in Hartford and the surrounding areas.

Client Details

Join a full-service construction management firm with over 70 years of experience serving the Northeast. They are currently involved in the Meadow Commons project, a 24-acre mixed-use development located along Berlin Turnpike in Newington, Connecticut. This development will feature a 43,000-square-foot grocery store and an additional 35,000 square feet of retail space.

Description

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including budget, schedule, and quality control.
• Lead communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and implement strategies to address challenges and meet deadlines.
• Maintain project records and documentation to ensure compliance and organization.
• Utilize project management software, such as Procore, to monitor and report on project progress.
• Can commute once a week to White Plains, NY office.

Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in construction project management
• Proficiency in project management software and familiarity with design-build methodologies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction estimating and scheduling processes.
• History of tenure at reputable General Contractors.
• Can commute once a week to White Plains, NY office.
