Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls. This role will play a critical part in managing month-end close processes, financial reporting, budgeting, and inventory accounting, and will provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team.

Supervise and lead the accounting team in daily operations including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes and ensure timely preparation of financial statements
Oversee inventory accounting, including cost of goods sold (COGS), shrinkage, and reconciliation across retail locations
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax laws
Collaborate with operations, merchandising, and supply chain teams to support financial planning and decision-making
Prepare and review internal and external reports, including sales tax filings, audits, and financial analyses
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies and procedures
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants during annual audits and tax filings
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Experience in retail or consumer products industry strongly preferred
Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and Excel
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High level of integrity and attention to detail
