(Senior) Superintendent - Charleston, SC (Healthcare Preferred)
TOP GC is seeking a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent capable of leading major ground-up projects-preferably within healthcare, though this is not a requirement This role is ideal for a seasoned builder with 10+ years of experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to mentor and elevate younger team members.

Description
- Lead large-scale ground-up projects as the primary field authority
- Oversee healthcare builds including medical office buildings (MOBs), clinics, and specialty medical environments
- Partner equally with the Project Manager in schedule creation, client communication, and project planning
- Run all field operations including subcontractor oversight, safety, quality, and sequencing
- Represent GC professionally in client meetings and on-site engagements
- Mentor and train junior field staff to support team growth and skill development
- Act autonomously in the field while upholding company standards and client expectations
Profile
A successful (Senior) Superintendent should have:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction
- Proven ability to lead ground-up projects independently
- Healthcare project experience (MOBs, clinical spaces) strongly preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication, leadership presence, and client-facing skills
- Desire to mentor younger teammates and contribute to team development
- Motivated, solution-oriented, and able to operate with autonomy
Job Offer
- Competitive salary open and flexible based on experience - typically up to $180K
- Vehicle allowance: approx. $750/month (varies per offer)
- ESOP profit sharing (no 401k match)
