Client Details

Our client is a local leading general contractor dedicated to Institutional and Commercial Building Projects across the Jackson, MS area, valued between $5M and $65M in scope.

Due to current growth, the organization is looking to secure a Lead Superintendent to join their team in a strategic leadership capacity.

Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Manage the oversight of day to day operations for ongoing projects within the business through direct management of Site Superintendents
• Maintain a high level of health and safety practices on site at all times through management of the Site Supervisory team
• Manage several teams and subcontractors
• In charge of all on-site activities
• Oversee the coordination, management and scheduling all sub-trades for ongoing projects
• Report project progress to key internal and external stakeholders
• All other duties as required

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 20+ years of experience working with established ICI general contractors
• Experience overseeing multiple full cycle Institutional renovation and new build projects between $5M and $65M in scope
• Post secondary college or university education, related to engineering or construction
• GSC designation is an asset
• Strong organizational, leadership and technical software skills
