Project Controls Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team supporting the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Program for a project in Torrance. This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to high-impact educational infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project controls within large-scale construction or capital improvement programs.

We are a leading construction management firm committed to delivering high-quality, client-focused services across public infrastructure and education sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled Project Controls Specialist to support the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) bond program. This role is based at LA Harbor College in Torrance, where the candidate will work directly with the client team in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Description
Support planning and execution of capital improvement projects through schedule and cost management.
Maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
Prepare and analyze cost reports, forecasts, and variance reports.
Assist in change management, risk assessment, and document control processes.
Collaborate with LACCD staff, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
Report directly to the LACCD client on site.
Profile
5-10 years of experience in project controls within building and construction or infrastructure projects.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and project controls tools (Primavera P6, MS Excel, etc.).
Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience working on public sector or education construction projects is preferred.
