Project Manager - Public & Healthcare - OPM Firm
A well‑established Boston‑based real estate development and project management firm is hiring an experienced Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of healthcare and public‑sector work. This individual will lead complex projects for repeat clients and play a key role in helping the firm continue to scale without turning work away.

Our client is a highly respected real estate development, project management, and advisory firm with over 50 years in the Boston market. Over the last decade alone, they have delivered hundreds of projects totaling more than $10B in capital investment across life science, healthcare, academic, public, residential, and mixed‑use developments.

Description
As Project Manager, you will act as the Owner's Representative, overseeing projects from early planning through construction and close‑out. Current and upcoming work includes hospital projects and public‑sector developments such as courthouses, transportation authorities, and municipal entities
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing healthcare and public‑sector projects from pre‑development through completion
- Serving as the primary point of contact between owners, designers, consultants, and contractors
- Overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk management
- Managing public‑sector compliance requirements and documentation
- Leading consultant teams and ensuring alignment with client goals
- Supporting repeat clients on multiple projects as part of a long‑term partnership approach
- Providing on‑site oversight as required (including full‑time site presence on select projects)
Profile
A successful Project Manager - Public & Healthcare - OPM Firm should have:
- 8-10+ years of project management experience with strong career tenure
- Proven background in healthcare (hospital‑specific) projects
- Experience with public‑sector work such as courthouses, transportation authorities, or similar entities
- Familiarity with public procurement and compliance environments
- Certifications or experience with MCPPO, DCAMM, UMBA strongly preferred
- Experience working as an Owner's Rep / OPM or directly for a developer
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage repeat‑client relationships
- Ability to work fully on‑site when required
