Description
The Estimating Engineer will:
- Read and outline project drawings, specifications, and ancillary bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs
- Develop requests for quotation packages for vendors and subcontractors
- Identify and solicit requests for quotations to vendors and subcontractors
- Support distribution of bid materials to stakeholders
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals
- Collaborate with estimating and project management teams
- Assist Project Managers in cost evaluations.
- Assist in closing out bids.
- Assist with internal process enhancement initiatives
- All other duties as assigned
Profile
The Estimating Engineer should have:
- 1+ years of estimating experience, preferably at an industrial or commercial GC
- A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
