Senior Accountant- Hybrid- Griffith, IN
I'm partnered with the CFO at an industry leading, environmental services company. This client works with large, well-known manufacturers to increase their global footprint by reducing hazardous materials. With a global presence, they are experiencing massive growth within their organization, and are now looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to help manage the accounting functions for one of their locations.
Reporting into the Controller, you will be responsible with assisting in various accounting functions including month-end, audit, and other duties as assigned. As the Senior Accountant, you will be a key driver improving efficiency and profitability of the business as well!
Client Details

Description
- Assist in the monthly general ledger close process.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure adherence to US GAAP and Global Accounting Policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead their implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training as necessary.
- Reconcile financial data across different platforms to ensure accuracy.
- Research and interpret data to address accounting and financial inquiries.
- Support various audit processes.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional accounting duties as needed
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in accounting.
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
