Production Superintendent
A fast-growing beverage manufacturer is seeking a high-energy, hands-on Production Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations at its brewing facility. This individual will play a critical leadership role, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while supporting a culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Description
- Supervise, mentor, and develop production staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Train team members on SOPs, safety protocols, and equipment use.
- Provide clear direction, timely feedback, and recognition to drive engagement and performance.
- Execute and maintain production schedules to meet demand and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor throughput, yields, labor usage, and material consumption.
- Ensure adherence to sanitation and facility procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase output and reduce waste.
- Apply root cause analysis to resolve recurring issues with sustainable solutions.
- Lead and empower the team to participate in improvement initiatives.
- Review product and packaging quality and coordinate investigations as needed.
- Conduct or oversee quality testing (e.g., pH, ABV, DO, CO2, seam integrity).
- Maintain sanitation and cleaning procedures with proper documentation.
- Manage timekeeping, attendance, scheduling, and payroll approvals.
Profile
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in food or beverage manufacturing
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory quality systems
- Familiarity with SQF or GFSI standards is a plus
- Strong leadership and cross-functional team management experience
- Proficiency in production scheduling, KPI tracking, and root cause analysis
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Comfortable using digital tools for tracking and communication
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
