Senior IDQ Developer

We are looking for an IDQ Developer to collaborate with various teams on data analysis and the creation of data quality rules and metrics. The ideal candidate should possess strong design and analysis skills, a thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, and expertise in data quality and related metrics to enhance data quality within our Financial ecosystem.

Description

• Assess and develop data quality rules based on business requirements, ensuring they function correctly through rigorous testing and coordination with stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and implement various data profiling methods, including column profiling, cross join profiling, comparative profiling, and summary reports, as well as creating quick and custom profiles and scorecards.
• Design, develop, and integrate data quality exception results into BI-friendly formats to facilitate easy interpretation of transactional data, client data, KPIs, and data quality metrics.
• Establish and manage workflows to ensure timely data refreshes and availability using Informatica ETL.
• Use ServiceNow to manage changes and coordinate implementations with production support.

THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION BASED IN NEW YORK CITY, NY! Profile

• Experience working in a regulated financial institution and using the IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) suite for development and reporting.
• Proficient in Informatica components necessary for Data Quality, with required experience in PowerCenter and a deep understanding of data quality processes, including profiling, cleansing, standardization, and match/merge techniques.
• Proven ability to implement Informatica Data Quality components such as rules, glossaries, and scorecards, and integrate data quality transformations across multiple architectures.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, coupled with advanced SQL skills in DB2, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating data quality services from production applications and effectively displaying results.
