Client Details

A leading project management consulting firm is seeking a talented FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) Project Manager to join their team in the Seaport Boston. Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of FF&E projects, including procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and installation, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, vendors, and contractors to define project requirements, develop specifications, and source FF&E materials and furnishings.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and oversee project execution to meet client expectations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate logistics, including shipping, delivery, and installation, and ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, address any issues or concerns, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders, and maintain accurate records of project activities and expenses.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and project stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables, and addressing any questions or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.

Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Project Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an FF&E Project Manager, preferably in a consulting or design firm.
  • Strong understanding of FF&E procurement processes, including sourcing, bidding, negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project or Asana, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and attend meetings as needed.
