Project Manager (Multifamily Developer)
This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a growing developer with their own general contracting arm for multifamily projects in the Metro Detroit area. This family-like firm offers a great environment and culture with ample room for professional growth.
Client Details
This client is a developer with their own general contracting arm based out of Metro Detroit. This small-medium sized firm is growing substantially and looking to add a qualified proect manager to their team.
Description
The Key Responisbilities for project manager (Detroit, MI) include:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Manage and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and cost control systems.
Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and change orders.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays.
Prepare and present project reports, updates, and forecasts to management and clients.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Profile
The Successful Candidate for Project Manager (Detroit, MI) will have:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in construction project management (commercial, residential, or industrial).
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).
OSHA certification or other safety credentials preferred.
Job Offer
A Potential Offer for a Project Manager (Detroit, MI) will be:
- $115,000-$135,000 Base Salary
