The Manufacturing Automation Engineer leads the planning, installation and maintenance of automated manufacturing systems to improve efficiency and safety. They manage capital projects, troubleshoot equipment, program robots and collaborate across a variety of teams.

Description

As the Manufacturing Automation Engineer you will focus on:

  • Leading the design, installation, and commissioning of automated manufacturing systems.
  • Managing the capital automation projects from planning through execution.
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment and robotic systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Train personnel on operation and troubleshooting of automation equipment.

Profile

The Manufacturing Automation Engineer should have:

  • BS in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 7+ year's experience managing capital automation projects.
  • Strong hands-on skills troubleshooting industrial automation and robotic systems.
  • Proficient in programming robots and industrial control software.
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and control system integration.
