Description

As the Manufacturing Automation Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of advancing factory automation-leading the implementation of high-tech systems that enhance production speed, safety, and precision. You'll oversee automation projects from concept through launch, ensuring seamless integration and long-term success. With a strong technical presence on the floor, you'll diagnose system issues, optimize equipment performance, and coach teams on how to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Leading the design, installation, and commissioning of automated manufacturing systems.
  • Managing the capital automation projects from planning through execution.
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment and robotic systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Train personnel on operation and troubleshooting of automation equipment.

Profile

As the Manufacturing Automation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in driving the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced automation systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Success in this role requires a strong technical background combined with extensive hands-on experience managing complex capital projects.

You'll need to be adept at troubleshooting sophisticated robotic and automation equipment while collaborating across teams to ensure seamless system integration. To excel here, you should bring a blend of engineering knowledge, programming skills, and practical familiarity with industrial control systems. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • BS in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 7+ year's experience managing capital automation projects.
  • Strong hands-on skills troubleshooting industrial automation and robotic systems.
  • Proficient in programming robots and industrial control software.
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and control system integration.
