Accounts Payable Specialist
Our client, a premier logistics & storage company, based in Austin, TX, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a full time role, and the successful candidate will have 0-2 years of Accounts Payable experience.
Client Details
A trusted leader in international logistics for fine art, based in Austin, TX. This FTE role is 4 days per week in office with 1 day of hybrid flexibility and offers a chance to work with a growing logistics company.
Description
This role will involve:
- Process high-volume vendor invoices related to international shipping, freight, port fees, customs duties, and other logistics-related services.
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure timely payment of vendors while optimizing cash flow and taking advantage of early payment discounts.
- Communicate with global vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare and process batch payments, including wire transfers and multi-currency payments.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree required
- 0-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable preferred
- Netsuite ERP experience preferred
- Ability to be flexible & tech-savvy
