My client is seeking a talented and dedicated Manufacturing Engineer ready to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding role. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production.

With a commitment to continuous improvement and technical excellence, they are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team.
Description
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for CNC machining, plastic molding, and precision fabrication.
- Collaborate with product development and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with industry standards (ISO 13485, AS9100, etc.).
- Lead process validation efforts including IQ/OQ/PQ for medical and aerospace components.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, PFMEAs, and control plans.
- Evaluate production processes for efficiency, yield improvement, and cost reduction.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve production flow and reduce waste.
- Specify tooling, fixtures, and equipment needed for production.
- Provide technical support to operators and technicians on the shop floor.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for continuous improvement initiatives and kaizen events.
Profile
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a regulated industry (medical, aerospace).
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining and/or plastic manufacturing processes.
- Experience with process validation and quality systems (ISO 13485, AS9100).
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and CAM tools.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles; certification a plus (e.g., Green Belt).
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
