Engineering Manager - Plastics Manufacturing - Dover, NH
The Engineering Manager will oversee and lead the engineering team in all aspects of process control, product and process development for manufacturing. In this role, you will play a strategic part in advancing my clients technical capabilities, implementing best practices, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.

Description
The Engineering Manager will report directly into the President and be responsible for:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers to achieve project and company goals.
- Oversee the design and development of manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to support new product development and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize resource use.
- Establish and monitor engineering metrics, budgets, and timelines to meet company objectives.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, equipment, and methodologies that improve manufacturing capabilities.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on project status, challenges, and achievements.

Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of rubber process experience.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering management or leadership.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry-specific standards.
- Proven track record of leading and developing engineering teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
