Sr Electrical Engineer - NPD Engineering - Salem, MA
You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, simulating, documenting, prototyping, and manufacturing new signal processing electronics while fixing and improving the existing product line.

Description
In this role you will report into the NPD Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Leading the design and development of robust electric systems from requirements definition through integration and testing.
- Executing technically challenging and time-sensitive projects in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Collaborating with Software, Firmware, Controls, and Mechanical engineers to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Developing and executing performance verification activities, including unit tests, integration tests, and debugging.
- Building technical expertise in the company's electrical systems and providing guidance and support to company staff and customers.
- Actively participating in product design reviews.
- Managing and guiding third-party resources.
- Providing ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems and platforms.
Profile
The successful candidate will have
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge or PCB design, prototype, and manufacture
- Strong knowledge of ECAD design tools- Altium, Eagle, OrCAD
- Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, Parallel, etc.)
- Experience with C, C++, C#, or Python
- Experience using LabVIEW, Spice, Multisim, etc.
- Familiarity working with CE and/or UL marking requirements
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment
