Environmental Compliance Specialist Opportunity
Join a dynamic team where you'll play a key role in maintaining environmental compliance and driving sustainability initiatives. Key highlights of the role include:
- Waste Management: Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste processes, including disposal, reporting, and reduction strategies.
- Stormwater and Spill Prevention: Conduct inspections, manage plans (SWPPP, SPCC), and provide training to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Wastewater and Air Quality: Serve as the point of contact for industrial discharge permits, manage air emissions compliance, and maintain required certifications.
- Groundwater Management: Partner with consultants to ensure groundwater system compliance and review monitoring reports.
- Regulatory Reporting: Complete Tier II, SARA 313, and monthly environmental metrics to corporate EHS.
- Training and Improvement: Lead environmental training programs, perform self-assessments, and implement corrective actions to enhance compliance.
