Accounting Clerk

Our client is currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to join the team. This role is direct hire.

Client Details

Our client is a Large Construction Group located in Brighton, MI. This role is based 5 days in office.

Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain filing systems for financial documents.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes.
• Perform data entry and maintain the accuracy of financial data in accounting software.

Profile

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in accounting or administrative roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
