Traveling Superintendent- Retail Buildouts

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee national retail buildout projects for a Florida-based General Contractor. This position requires extensive travel to states like Georgia, Texas, Alabama, and Virginia, ensuring quality, schedule, and safety on job sites.

Description

• Manage day-to-day on-site construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope

• Oversee subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and quality control

• Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations

• Conduct project reporting, progress documentation, and site meetings

• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and vendors

• Travel out of state to job sites for durations based on project needs

Profile

• Based in Florida and fully willing to travel to various out-of-state locations

• 3+ years of Superintendent experience with a focus on retail interiors or commercial TI projects

• Proven ability to manage ground-level site activity, subcontractors, and construction schedules independently

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and best practices

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently

Job Offer

• Competitive base salary between $80,000 - $95,000, based on experience
