Commercial Estimator - Hartford
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator to work directly with our Chief Estimator. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, team-oriented professional with 5+ years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects valued at $8M or more.

Description
- Generate detailed estimates for both small and large projects.
- Compile bidders lists in collaboration with Project Managers.
- Maintain a comprehensive bid log, actively updating the status for management.
- Interact directly with project owners as necessary, attending meetings with partners and project managers.
- Provide bi-weekly project updates to the entire team.
- Conduct walk-throughs with owners as needed for bid preparation and proposal development.
- Communicate and interact with subcontractors and component suppliers, including those in concrete, steel, joist, precast, and masonry.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction.
- Ability to quickly and accurately review plans and evaluate drawings.
- Familiarity with local jurisdictions, codes, and review processes is a plus.
- Superior attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
