Chief of Staff - Onsite NYC - Up to $215K + Equity
The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in supporting the C-Suite by driving strategic initiatives, streamlining operations, and ensuring effective communication across the organization, specifically with the People Operations function. This person will be a true people partner to the business, leading the full employee life cycle, benefits and payroll, and strategic planning initiatives. Fully onsite in NYC, up to $215K base.
Client Details
This Tech Start up is a scaling, global organization with around 100 employees, and plans to double in the next year. The Chief of Staff / People Operations Lead will collaborate with the C-Suite to build out the people function, supporting their growing organization as they continue to prioritize their employees.
Description
- Provide strategic support to the C-Suite by managing people processes.
- Experience owning, designing, and implementing people systems and processes.
- Run the full employee life cycle (onboarding, offboarding, etc.).
- Benefits and Payroll through Rippling.
- Experience with compensation and discussing equities.
- Ability to partner with C-Suite individuals and be a true seat at the table.
- Quarterly travel to the UK.
Profile
- 8 to 12 years of experience.
- MUST be coming from a start-up background.
- Experience with broader operations (not just HR) at a startup.
- Comfortable wearing many hats - (People Operations/Chief of Staff).
- Strong problem‑solving and strategic thinking.
- Experience handling equity is a must.
- Able to travel quarterly.
