Associate, IP Transactions (Life Sciences)
This role focuses on advising life sciences clients on complex IP licensing, collaborations, and commercial transactions. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to support strategic M&A, technology deals, and emerging issues involving digital health, data rights, and regulatory considerations.

Description
- Draft, negotiate, and review intellectual property transaction agreements, particularly in the life sciences sector.
- Provide legal counsel on licensing, collaboration, and joint venture agreements.
- Conduct due diligence on intellectual property matters in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Work closely with clients to identify and address intellectual property risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in the life sciences and intellectual property fields.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage and mentor junior team members as needed.

Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Expertise in intellectual property transactions within the life sciences sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
