The Head of Data & Insights will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's data and insights strategy. This role will oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to help drive product development, marketing strategy, and customer experience optimization.

Description

The Head of Data & Insights will oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to help drive product development, marketing strategy, and customer experience optimization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data analytics, consumer insights, and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations. You will play a crucial role in shaping the company's growth by providing data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions.

  • Develop and implement the overall data and insights strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Establish best practices for data governance, analytics, and reporting.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the business and track progress.
  • Design and oversee the execution of research initiatives to understand customer needs, behavior, and preferences.
  • Analyze trends in customer data to inform product development, marketing strategies, and brand positioning.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to deliver actionable consumer insights.
  • Handle the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from multiple sources (sales, e-commerce, customer feedback, etc.)
  • Build dashboards and tools for real-time data access and reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations based on data trends to improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall brand performance.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, finance, and other teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across the company
  • Explore emerging technologies and analytics tools to enhance data analysis capabilities.
  • Stay updated on beauty industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive intelligence to inform the company's strategy.

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in data and analytics roles, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in the beauty, retail, or consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience in conducting and interpreting quantitative and qualitative consumer research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
