Senior Accountant

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team. This role is temp to perm and candidates should be available.

Client Details

This client is a large manufacturing company located in Naperville, IL. This role is based temp to perm.

Description

- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
- Perform general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls
- Manage the accounts payable process, including vendor invoice processing and payment disbursement
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and analysis
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff

Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and SOX regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
